Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7-8, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19 )

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

We believe in the deity of Christ; His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His substitutionary atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7;) His resurrection (John 11:25; I Corinthians 15:4); His Ascension to the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 1:1-3); and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).

We believe that all people are separated from God (Romans 3:23) and that restoration is through faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Romans 5:1, Romans 10:9)

We believe and profess that salvation is a gift of God's grace received through personal faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8)

We believe in the present indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose intercessory and sanctifying work continually renews the Christian and enables him to live a godly life in conformity with the Scripture. (John 14:15-17, I Corinthians 3:16)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28,29)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 10: 22-25, I Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28)
